Use add-ons
Depending on your access rights, a number of add-ons can appear at the bottom of the timecard:
- Accruals — Displays the accruals information such as sick and vacation. The information that appears depends on the time period that you select in the timecard.
- Totals — Displays totals for selected time spans and timecard columns.
- Historical Corrections — Enables you to verify the results of pending and saved historical corrections Edits that occur after timecards are approved and signed-off..
- Audits — Displays audit details, including comments, corrections, requests, timecard sign-offs and approvals that have been posted to a timecard.
- Target Hours — Provides the ability to view data with the goal of seeing the variance between the target hours The difference between actual and target hours for employees who work according to employment terms. Example: A contract employee is paid for the target 40 hours a week even if they work fewer or more actual hours. as defined in the employment terms Legal contracts between employer and employee. When scheduled to work hours differ from the hours in their contract, the pay rules of the employees determine the impact on pay. and the actual hours the employee worked.
When viewing add-ons, note the following:
- You can adjust the column width by dragging the area between the column headings.
- Click the maximize-minimize icon
to maximize the add-on area and click it again to minimize it. - Grab the line that separates the timecard from the add-on and drag it up or down to resize the add-on area.
- Click X to close the add-on.

- If you are only using the keyboard in Scheduling, press the T key to access the add-ons area from the grid and press space to expand. You can also Tab from the Schedule Planner grid to access these add-ons.
- When in the Timecard, Dataviews A configurable tool for analyzing data and taking actions on a group of employees or an organization., and Leave and Attendance, press Tab to navigate to the add-ons area and press space to expand.
- Press Tab to access an additional button that expands and collapses the add-on content.
- After the add-on has been expanded, press Tab to navigate to the Search field or Filter drop-down menu.
- Press Shift + Tab to return focus to the Collapse Add-On button and press space to close the add-on content but not the entire add-on.
- Press Shift + Tab to navigate back to the Close Add-On button that closes the entire add-on.
Note: When viewing Timecards and Dataviews in List View format, add-ons also display in this format. If using Table View, add-ons display as a table. The Table View is not optimized for screen readers, but can be navigated through and modified using the keyboard.
Note: Only Accruals, Totals, Work Summary, and Comments add-ons in Timekeeping and Scheduling are accessible in List View format.
