Use the Audit add-on

The Audits add-on allows you to view a number of audit details.

  • Effective Date — The date to which the edit applies.
  • Time — The time to which the edit applies.
  • Audit ID — The ID of the audit.     • Transfer Work Rule — The work rule applied to the punch or amount.

    • Transfer Labor Category — The labor category that was applied to the punch or amount. If a work rule edit is applied to a punch, the old work rule name appears to the right in square brackets [ ].
    • Cost Center — The cost center applied to a transfer.
  • Override — The override type to which the punch or amount was converted.
  • Comment — The comments associated with a punch, paycode edit, or duration. Each comment attached to a punch or an amount generates a separate entry.
  • Comment Notes — The notes associated with a comment for a punch, paycode edit, or duration. Each comment attached to a punch or an amount generates a separate entry.
  • User— Displays the user name of the person who made the edit. When a user makes a timecard edit acting as a delegate, the User column includes both the delegate name and the delegator name. The format is:
  • <Delegator Username> (<Delegate Username>)
  • Audit Date/Time — The date and time when the edit was made. The time is based off of the database server and includes the time zone of the database server. For retroactive edits, configured time zone for the user that made the edit appears
  • Data Source — The server name and the client machine address.
  • For online transfers, the data source is listed as follows:

  • Note: The data source for Manager Approval – Delete and Manager Approval – Delete All types that were performed via a group edit action is the same as the data source for the original manager approval. For example, if the original manager approval was performed in the Timecard Editor and then the Remove All Approval action was performed from a group edit, then the data source shows as Timecard Editor.

  • Account Approval Details — The edit might display more than one row. For example, the Account Approval details filter will use multiple rows per approval, one row for each account per day.
