Employee Summary page
The Employee Summary page is a Dataview A configurable tool for analyzing data and taking actions on a group of employees or an organization. that enables you to review the overall status of your employees' timecards.
To access the Employee Summary page, select Time > Employee Summary from the Main Menu.
The page can include the following columns for all of the employees in your employee group. Click refine
- Employee Full Name
- Employee ID
- Actual Hours
- Actual Days
- Scheduled Hours
- Scheduled Days
- Projected Hours
- Projected Days
- Employee Approval Count
You can also select Show Filters Row to filter the contents. (This selection toggles with Hide Filters Row.) For more information about the filters row, see Refine timecards.
Depending on the column, you can click the down arrow
- Columns that contain alphabetical data only — Sort (ascending or descending), hide the column, group by the column, or display a count at the bottom of the listing.
- Columns that contain numerical data — Sort (ascending or descending), hide the column, generate a maximum, minimum, average, or summation of the values at the bottom of the listing.
Note: If you select Ascending, an up arrow
- Click Tap Select Timeframe
. - Click Tap Select Hyperfind
- Select one or more check boxes next to Employee Full Name or click Select All
to select all employees listed. - Select one or more check boxes next to Employee Full Name and click tap Open Selected
- To search for specific employees, click tap Filter
and select Show Filters Row. Two sets of boxes display in each column. The first box is a filter and the second box is a search box. - If more than the listed employees are available, scroll to the bottom of the page until all employees are loaded.
- To clear all the selected names, click tap Unselect All
You can either can review timecards individually for the selected employees or make edits to all of the selected employee timecards (called "group edits Changes made to more than one employee record at a time, for example, add or delete a paycode or punch to a group of timecards."). To make group edits for the selected employees, use the indicators in the actions bar to:

Refine — Opens the Refine panel so you can sort, filter, group, and calculate the values. Remove Approval — Removes the approval of the selected employees Sign-Off — Signs off the time of the selected employees Remove Sign-Off — Removes the sign-off of the selected employees. Add Punch — Opens the Add Punch panel so you can add a punch to the selected hourly employees Calculate Employee Totals — Opens the Calculate Employee Totals panel. Enter the start date to re-total the selected employees' time. Enable Edits — Enable edits after signoff for all selected employees. Note that the employee must all have the appropriate rights in his or her function access profile Collapse — Hides the Timeframe Selector, Hyperfind Selector, and Refresh indicators to save space. To restore them, tap Expand .
