Schedule score factors are used to configure schedule score definitions. You can deactivate schedule score factors that are not currently being used to reduce the processing load on the system.
A factor cannot be deactivated when the factor is used in an existing schedule score definition. When a factor is not active, it is not available to select when configuring a schedule score definition.

To deactivate a schedule score factor:
- Select Administration > Application Setup > Scheduler Setup > Factor Deactivation.
- Select a factor and click Edit.
- Deselect Active.
- Click Tap Save.
In the Active column, a black circle displays for category factors that are active. An empty circle displays for factors that are inactive.
Any schedule score definitions that are configured with this factor display in Dependent Schedule Score Definitions. You cannot deactivate factors that are in use.
