Edit a mapping category

To edit a mapping category:

  1. Open the Main Menu and navigate to Administration > Application Setup.
  2. Navigate to KPI Builder >Mapping Category Definition. A table lists the Name, Description, Mapping Category Type, and Type (STANDARD or CUSTOM) of each existing mapping category.
  3. You can sort this list by the contents of any column by clicking tapping the column heading. Clicking Tapping toggles between an alphabetical or reverse alphabetical sort.
  4. You can filter this list by clicking tapping Filter and entering a search string in one or more of the empty cells immediately beneath the column headings.
  5. You can condense the table by removing any unpinned columns (columns with a blue heading). Click Tap Column Selection and select or deselect the appropriate columns.
  6. Highlight the mapping category that you want to edit and click tap Edit . The Entity Name table lists all configured pay codes or exceptions, depending on the mapping category type.
  7. You can filter this list by clicking tapping Filter and entering a search string in the empty cell immediately beneath the table heading.
  8. Highlight the entities that you would like to add to the mapping category and click tap Assign . The entities are added to the list of currently assigned Mapping Category Entities.
  9. Highlight the entities that you would like to remove from the mapping category and click tap Un-assign .
  10. To overwrite the existing mapping category, select the "Everywhere <existing-mapping-category> used check box" in the Save changes to field, and click tap Save.
  11. To create a new mapping category, select the "A new Mapping Category Definition" check box in the Save changes to field, enter a Name and Description for the mapping category, and click tap Save.
