Work with punches (hourly timecard only) - managers

Enter or edit a punch
The way that you add a punch differs depending on whether you are using the table view or the list view.
To enter or change a punch, click a cell in the In or Out column, enter the time, then click Save
If you need to add more detail to the punch:
- Right-click a cell in the In or Out column. - Transfer — Click Tap the arrow
to open the Transfer glance panel where you can select the business stsructure, work rule, cost center or labor category for the transfer. Click Tap or Cancel to exit. - Override — Select one of the listed overrides.
- Time Zone — Select the applicable time zone.
- Cancel Deductions — Select one of the listed deduction rules.
- Exceptions — If there is an exception in the cell, the exception name is displayed. You cannot edit this.
- Comments — If there is a comment for the cell, the comment is displayed.
- Click Apply.
Note: Punches that cross the day divide Time that defines when one day ends and a new day begins. The day divide is defined in a pay rule. - In the time detail panel, add or edit a punch:

After you create the punch, you can attach a comment as described in Add comments.
- Tap the appropriate day.
- In the time detail panel you can add or edit a punch:
- To add a punch, tap Add Punch.
- To edit an existing punch, select Punch In or Punch Out, tap Edit

- In the Punch panel, enter the following information as needed:

View rounded punches
In the timecard you can toggle the punch display between actual worked punches and rounded punches. This can help to better understand the impact of rounding within the selected timeframe.
To view rounded punches in the timecard, select Rounded Punches
- The timecard must be in a saved state to view rounded punches.
- When viewing rounded punches the timecard is ready-only with a gray background and some timecard action bar options are not available.
- Rounded punch display follows the Round rule assigned in the work rule.
Rounded punch display persists until you select the Actual Punches icon so that you can scroll through employee timecards and keep the rounded punch display.
Delete a punch
In the table view, select the punch, then click Delete on your keyboard.
In the list view, select a punch from the day detail panel and delete it.
In the day detail panel, select a punch and delete it.
