Run a Business Process
You can run a Business Process An organized flow of activities or tasks that achieves a business goal. An automated business process minimizes the amount of paperwork and manual tasks to complete that process by way of automatic actions, online forms, and automatically generated messages. from the following components:
The Business Process tile A container that provides navigation or action from its summary view. enables you to initiate a Business Process directly from your home page The page that is presented to the user upon login, which contains the tiles that let the user access or navigate to common tasks.. When you select a Business Process from the tile, the applicable panel opens and you can complete the associated fields. The fields and steps you need to complete depend on the Business Process being run.
You can access the Business Process Library from GoTo
- Timecard
- Schedule
- Attendance Details
- Leave of Absence Case Editor
- Employee Search
- People Information
- Dataviews A configurable tool for analyzing data and taking actions on a group of employees or an organization.
The Business Process Library displays the name and description of the Business Processes that you can initiate. When you select a Business Process from the Business Process Library, the applicable panel opens and you can complete the associated fields. The fields and steps you need to complete depend on the Business Process being run.
Note: You cannot set or change the timeframe and Hyperfind A search engine that filters and selects groups of employees through queries that specify conditions or locations (criteria). from the Business Process Library page. You must set the context in the originating page before you click GoTo. The system passes the hyperFind and timeFrame variables from the originating page to the Business Process Library page.
- Log in to a manager or employee account that has received a Business Process task notification.
- Do one of the following:
- Click Tap Notifications
. A number beside the icon displays the number of active notifications that you have; if there is no number, you have no active notifications. If you don't see the appropriate task near the top of the list, click tap View All. - Click Tap Home
. In My Notifications, click tap Tasks.
- Click Tap Notifications
- In Control Center, click tap My Actions
. Select Business Processes > the Business Process. - Complete the required options as requested in the Business Process forms.
- Submit the forms.
